I’m a Minneapolis-based photographer chasing real moments in lifestyle and weddings—and the person behind the camera at Zapata Palms Pictures. What am I best at? Making an awkward situation a lot less awkward. I show up with a camera, a lot of enthusiasm, and just enough bad jokes to get you to loosen up. My approach is all about creating joyful, relaxed, and welcoming vibes because the best photos happen when you forget the camera is even there.

Photography is defined as “the art or process of producing images by the action of radiant energy,” which sounds very official and science-y. What it really means for me is bringing good energy into every session- capturing genuine moments, real emotion, and the little in-between interactions that make you you.

Whether it’s your wedding day or an everyday milestone, my goal is to create images that don’t just look beautiful, but feel alive—photos that radiate your personality, your people, and this exact moment in time (yes, even the slightly chaotic, perfectly imperfect parts).
